Collection of general information

When you access our website, general information is collected automatically. This information (server log files) includes, for example, the type of web browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your Internet service provider, and more. None of the information gathered can be used to identify you. This information is technically required in order to correctly output the content of websites you requested and is necessarily gathered whenever you use the Internet. We use such anonymous information for statistical evaluation, which we then use as a basis for optimizing our Internet presence and the technology behind it.

Registration on our website

When you register on our website in order to use our personalized services, we collect some personal data: name, surname, company and e-mail address, optionally phone number and the reason of the request. If you register with us, you can access content and services that we offer exclusively to registered users. If required, registered users can change or delete the data they provided upon registration at any time. Of course, we will also provide information on your personal data we have stored at any time. We will be happy to correct or delete your data upon your request unless this conflicts with legal obligations to retain data. If you would like to contact us in this regard, please use the contact details provided at the end of this data privacy statement.

To protect your data during transmission, we use state-of-the-art encryption methods (e.g. SSL) via HTTPS.

Newsletter

When you register for our newsletter, the data you enter is used for this purpose exclusively. Subscribers may also be informed by e-mail about circumstances that are relevant for the service or registration (for example changes to the newsletter service or technical conditions).

In order to carry out registration effectively, we require a valid e-mail address. We use the “double opt-in” method to check whether the registration was really carried out by the owner of an e-mail address. To do this, we log the subscription to the newsletter, the confirmation e-mail, and the receipt of the response requested in the e-mail. No other data is gathered. The data is used for no other purpose than to send the newsletter and is not disclosed to third parties.

You can withdraw your consent to our storing your personal data and using it to send you the newsletter at any time. A link for this purpose is included in every newsletter. You can also unregister directly on this website at any time or notify us of your request using the contact details provided at the end of this document.

Contact form

When you contact us by e-mail or via the contact form, the information you provide is stored for the purpose of processing your request and any follow-up questions we may have.

Use of MAILCHIMP

If you wish to receive our offers (white papers, technical information, events, etc.) through our website, we will need an e-mail address from you, as well as information that will allow us to verify that you are the owner of the given e-mail address and agree with the processing of your data and the contact with Alegri.

In order to ensure that we make contact and send the action link, we use the double-opt-in procedure. After confirming your entries in the respective online form, you will be provisionally included in a mailing list as a potential recipient. You will then be asked by a confirmation e-mail to confirm the registration for the corresponding action. Only when you confirm, will your address be activated in the mailing list.

Your data will be used solely for electronic delivery of the requested information and offers through Alegri. You can revoke the granted consent to the storage of the data, the e-mail address and their use for sending the action mailings at any time, for example via the “unsubscribe” link in the registration confirmation e-mail.

The information will be sent by “MailChimp”, a platform for sending e-mails and newsletters from Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave # 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA. Rocket Science Group LLC is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement, providing a level of data protection adequate to the EU’s adequacy decision.

The shipping service provider is used based on our legitimate interests (Article 6 (1) (f) DSGVO) and a contract processing contract (Article 28 (3) sentence 1 DSGVO). You can view the privacy policy of MailChimp here: https://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy . The shipping service provider can use recipient data in pseudonymous form for technical optimization and for statistical purposes. However, he is prohibited from selling your data and using it for purposes other than sending mailings.

Data deletion or blocking

We adhere to the principles of data reduction and data economy. We therefore store your personal data only for as long as is necessary in order to fulfill the purposes specified here or as is legally required by the various retention periods. After the corresponding purpose is no longer applicable or these retention periods have expired, the stored data is blocked or deleted as a matter of routine and in accordance with the legal regulations.

Use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses what are known as “cookies,” i.e. text files that are stored on your computer and enable your use of the website to be analyzed. The information on your use of this website that is generated by the cookie is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA, where it is stored. Due to the fact that IP anonymization is activated on these websites, Google will first truncate your IP address within the member states of the European Union or other contracting states that have signed the Agreement on the European Economic Area. It is only in exceptional cases that the full IP address is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and then truncated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to analyze your use of the website, compile reports on website activities, and provide further services related to website use and Internet use to the website operator. Google does not merge the IP address that your browser transmits in the context of Google Analytics with other data. You can prevent cookies from being stored by adjusting the corresponding setting in your browser software. However, we would like to point out that you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent in this case. Another way to prevent Google from collecting and processing data relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) that is generated by the cookie is to click on the following link, and download and install the browser plug-in:

Link: Browser add-on for deactivating Google Analytics

In addition or as an alternative to the browser add-on, you can prevent Google Analytics from tracking your activity on our sites by clicking on this link. This will install an opt-out cookie on your device that prevents Google Analytics from collecting data for this website and this browser in the future for as long as the cookie is installed in your browser.

Use of Google remarketing

This website uses the remarketing function provided by Google Inc. The purpose of the function is to present advertisements tailored to the interests of website visitors within the Google advertising network. What is known as a “cookie” is stored in the website visitor’s browser. This cookie allows visitors to be recognized when they access websites that are part of the Google advertising network. On these websites, visitors can be shown advertisements that refer to content the visitors have accessed previously on websites that use the Google remarketing function.
According to Google, no personal data is gathered during this process. If you would still prefer not to use the Google remarketing function, you can deactivate it by going to http://www.google.com/settings/ads and selecting the corresponding settings. Alternatively, you can deactivate the use of cookies for advertisements tailored to your interests via the network advertising initiative by following the instructions explained at http://www.networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp.

Cookies

Like many other websites, we also use what are known as “cookies.” Cookies are small text files that are transmitted to your hard drive by a website server. This way, we receive specific data, e.g. the IP address, browser and operating system used, automatically via your computer and your Internet connection.

Cookies cannot be used to start programs or transmit viruses to a computer. The information included in the cookies allows us to make it easier for you to navigate our website and to display it correctly.

Under no circumstances will we transmit data we have collected to third parties or create a link with personal data without your consent.

Of course, you can also always view our website without cookies. Internet browsers are regularly set to accept cookies by default. You can deactivate the use of cookies via your browser settings at any time. Please use your Internet browser’s help functions to learn how to change these settings. Please note that individual functions of our website may not work if you have deactivated the use of cookies.

Google AdWords

Our website uses Google conversion tracking. If you came to our website via an advertisement posted by Google, Google AdWords installs a cookie on your computer. The cookie for conversion tracking is installed when a user clicks on an advertisement posted by Google. These cookies become invalid after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits specific pages of our website and the cookie has not yet expired, both we and Google can see that the user clicked on the advertisement and was forwarded to this page. Each Google AdWords customer is assigned a different cookie. This way, cookies cannot be tracked via the websites of AdWords customers. The information obtained by means of the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers can see the total number of users who clicked on their advertisement and were forwarded to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive information that could identify the user.

If you would prefer not to take part in conversion tracking, you can reject the installation of the required cookie, for example via a browser setting that deactivates the automatic installation of cookies in general, or you can set your browser to block cookies from the “googleleadservices.com” domain.

Please note that you must not delete the opt-out cookies if you do not want measuring data to be recorded. Once you have deleted all your cookies in the browser, you must install the appropriate opt-out cookie again.

Your rights to information, correction, blocking, deletion, and objection

You have the right to obtain information about your personal data we have stored at any time. You also have the right to have your personal data corrected, blocked, or – with the exception of the required data stored for business purposes – deleted. To ensure that data can be blocked at any time, this data must be held available in a block file for monitoring purposes. You can also request data to be deleted provided that it is not subject to compulsory archiving. If such an obligation exists, we will block your data upon your request.
